ByzanTEEN Youth Rally 2014: This week Byzantine Catholic youth from across the U.S. will gather at Mount St. Mary’s University in Emmitsburg, MD for the bi-annual ByzanTeen Youth Rally. Activities will begin this Thursday, July 10th and conclude on Sunday, July 13th. Each diocese within the Byzantine Ruthenian Metropolia takes turns in hosting this event and this year the Eparchy of Passaic assumes the role of host as our bishops, clergy, religious, youth ministers and teens gather in our Middle States Syncellate. Food for the Needy: Please keep in mind that food collections are not limited to the holiday seasons. Donations of non-perishable food items are needed year round to assist our neighbors in need.

Otpust: This year will mark the 80th annual Pilgrimage in honor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help at Mount St. Macrina in Uniontown, PA on Labor Day weekend, Saturday, August 30th and Sunday, August 31st.

Slavic-American Festival: St. Ann Byzantine Catholic Church in Harrisburg, PA will hold their annual Slavic-American Festival on Sunday, July 20th, on their Parish grounds at 5408 Locust Lane from 12:00 Noon until 9:00 PM. There will be Polka Bands performing, ethnic foods, raffles and games and much more. Free parking and free admission.
